The Local Scoop produces small-batch, handcrafted ice cream using local ingredients from Cape Cod food artisans, farmers, and friends. Our signature Cape Cod Pops take it up a notch - creamy homemade ice cream dipped in specially blended chocolate sprinkled with local toppings, plus fruit pops made with real fruit and local ingredients whenever we can. We keep it local because investing in our community helps it grow. One scoop (and one pop) at a time.

We’re so lucky to call Cape Cod home! As we dive into our 13th season—yes, lucky number 13, a true baker’s dozen—we’re feeling extra grateful. We love meeting new visitors, catching up with locals, and making new friends along the way. Over the years, we’ve scooped and swirled a lot of ice cream and Cape Cod Pops, always perfecting our craft to make each season even more fun.

We are excited about our production kitchen “27 Below”named after our Blast Freezer’s lowest temperature reading. We are making all of our homemade farm to scoop ice cream, frozen yogurt, Cape Cod Pops, and developing lots of new recipes.
